Gateways purchased with the Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) option can be facilitate communication and power over a single Ethernet cable when used with the appropriate PoE sourcing equipment.
Both IEEE 802.3 Mode A and Mode B are supported meaning passive or active PoE injectors can be used. Gateways that support PoE also support standard DC power as well.
Refer to the user manual for details on requirements for power sourcing equipment.
